The Shire of Mt Marshall is committed to sustainable land management. The priority issues for Natural Resource Management (NRM) within the shire are salinity, soil erosion, soil health, sustainable farm practices, and protection of natural resources.
To attract further funding and projects to the shire, the Shire of Mt Marshall is committed to working with NRMOs within the North Eastern Wheatbelt Regional Organisation of Councils (NEWROC) and beyond. The NRMOs collaborate to create NRM projects and attract funding wherever possible.
