Community and Recreation Development

Miss Rebecca Watson is currently employed by the Shire of Mt Marshall as the Community and Recreation Development Officer.  Rebecca’s objectives are to initiate, implement, maintain and enhance the full range of Community and Recreational Services in the Shire as part of the Community Services team.

Rebecca is also available to provide advice, assistance and action on any matters related to community programs and events to community groups, clubs and associations.

  • Community Events
  • Recreation

 

Rebecca is responsible for the following committees and working groups of Council:

  • Community Sport and Recreation Advisory Council
  • Junior Council, and
  • History Working Group

 

She also represents Council on the following regional organisations:

  • NEW Heritage
  • NEW Travel
  • NEW Arts
  • Central Wheatbelt Youth Network, and
  • Community Development Officer Network
