Available Funding
Funds have been set aside in the Shire’s annual budget to support the community through the following opportunities:
Club Support Fund
The Club Support Fund is an initiative by the Shire of Mt Marshall included in the Budget to provide much needed support and assistance to sport and recreational clubs within the community. The Fund aims to facilitate and encourage growth within our sport and recreation programs and facilities to provide active opportunities for all.
The Club Support Fund looks to provide financial assistance to clubs to help improve sporting facilities, provide better quality or additional equipment or access to professional coaching.
Clubs are invited to apply for a grant of up to a maximum of $8,000. A total fund Pool of $12,000 is allocated in the budget, applications will be reviewed and assessed by Staff and the final decision to be awarded by the Council.

Economic Development Grant Fund
Businesses and Community Groups from the Shire of Mt Marshall are invited to apply for funding through the Shire’s Economic Development Grant Fund.
This fund aims to provide businesses and community groups an opportunity to receive financial assistance for projects that will be of benefit to the Mt Marshall community.
Commercial businesses located within the Shire of Mt Marshall are eligible to apply for a minimum of $500 and a maximum of $15,000.
A co-contribution is required of at least $2 for every $1 requested.
Community groups and similar type organisations located within the Shire of Mt Marshall are eligible to apply for a minimum request of $300 and a maximum of $10,000.
A co-contribution is required of at least $1 for every $1 requested.
Applications are open twice annually.
